The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, on Sunrise Highway in North Lindenhurst.

Suffolk County Police said two vehicles crashed near North Greene Avenue before the occupants – who are known to one another – got into a physical altercation.

Video shared on Facebook by LI Fire Buff shows one vehicle on its side next to a white pickup truck.

In the clip, two men are seen punching each other with one swinging what appears to be a board at the other.

The fight eventually grows to include six people, three of whom are seen hitting others with boards. One of the men appears to be trying to break up the fight.

When the dust settled, two people were taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Two men and one juvenile male were arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Police did not speculate on what led up to the fight.

The incident fully blocked the westbound lanes of Sunrise Highway for some time, leading to delays for drivers.

“109 was a cluster (expletive) cause of this nonsense,” one commenter said on Facebook.
